Hospital buildings have high cooling demand in summer, and the efficient operation of the refrigeration machine room has significant energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits. Taking a tertiary hospital in a hot summer and cold winter zone as an example, through the field test and study of the operation performance of its air conditioning and refrigeration machine rooms in summer, the problems of low operation load rate of chillers, poor heat exchange performance of evaporator and condenser, and large flow and small temperature difference caused by lack of reasonable regulation of cold water and cooling water system are summarized, and optimization measures are proposed. The research results aim to provide suggestions for the energy-saving operation and maintenance of refrigeration machine rooms in similar buildings.
